Painting, Print Making and Mixed Media.

Juliet’s paintings and mixed media works are often large in size, scaling down in format to include much smaller more intimate pieces.

Juliet’s work blurs the boundaries between 2D and 3D, combining ceramic, metal and paper based sculptural elements with more traditional mediums.

With a thirst for variety in her art practice, Juliet’s subjects include still life, landscape and abstraction. The works are often multi-dimensional including many underlying layers. Some detail in the work is quite obvious whilst other layers are hidden amongst the paint and other medium.

Juliet explores how to best communicate her subject, often utilising collage elements like type, illustration and sculpture to strengthen her message. Etching and printed materials can be found in many of her works even the more classic of subjects.
